PrivyHub Terms of Use
Effective Date: April 21st, 2026
Welcome to PrivyHub! Thank you for your willingness to use PrivyHub. PrivyHub provides various types of services, therefore certain additional terms and conditions may apply when Users use such services. By accessing and/or using PrivyHub, Users declare that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”).
These Terms of Use may be amended or updated, either in part or in whole, from time to time without prior notice to Users, and shall take effect upon being uploaded on the Privy Website and/or Application. Privy recommends that Users review the Privy Website and/or Application to be aware of any changes to these Terms of Use from time to time.
By continuing to access or use PrivyHub, Users shall be deemed to have agreed to any amendments to these Terms of Use. If Users do not agree to the amendments to these Terms of Use, Users may contact Privy to proceed with the termination of their Privy Account.
These Terms of Use constitute an agreement between Privy and the Users. Please read these Terms of Use carefully!
1.Definitions
Unless specifically defined otherwise below, the capitalized terms used in these Terms of Use shall have the same meanings as those set forth in the Privy Personal Terms of Use. Each capitalized term shall have the following meanings:
- “Digital Identity” refers to Electronic Information containing the unique identity of a legal subject, the use of which is under the control of the legal subject associated with such identity.
- “Electronic Certificate” means a certificate issued and/or provided by Privy that is electronic in nature and contains an Electronic Signature and Digital Identity that indicates a legal subject or party in an Electronic Transaction.
- “Electronic Transaction" means a legal action carried out using a computer, computer network, and/or other electronic media.
- “Partner Services” means any product, service, feature, or activity provided by a Partner that can be accessed by Users through PrivyHub.
- “Partner” means any individual, legal entity, and/or business entity that cooperates with Privy to operate and/or provide the needs of PrivyHub Services, as evidenced by a document binding the rights and obligations of each party.
- “Privy Account” is any account issued by Privy, under the name PrivyID, each account owner will be given a userID, will choose a password, and store their Personal Data.
- “Privy Application” means mobile applications that can be accessed through website and mobile phones (mobile apps) operated by PT Privy Identity Digital.
- "Personal Data” is any data about a person either identified and/or can be identified separately or in combination with other information either directly or indirectly through electronic and/or non-electronic systems that identifies or can be used to identify individuals, alone or in combination with other data/information, directly or indirectly, in electronic and/or non-electronic systems, which are divided into Specific/Sensitive Personal Data and General Personal Data.
- “Personal Digital Certificate” is an Electronic Certificate issued by verifying in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
- “Privy Platform" refers to the Site and Privy Application, which can be accessed via the User's computer and/or mobile devices.
- “Privy” means PT Privy Digital Identity and/or subsidiaries, affiliated companies with direct or indirect relationships with PT. Privy Identitas Digital.
- “PrivyHub” or “PrivyHub Services” means a service that enables Users to register for and use Partner Services using PrivyPass.
- “PrivyPass” or the "PrivyPass Service" refers to a Digital Identity service that facilitates the remote, non-face-to-face verification and authentication of a User's identity using PrivyID.
- “User” means any individual, including but not limited to Indonesian citizens and/or foreign nationals, who accesses the Privy Website and/or Application and/or uses PrivyHub Services.
2.Use of PrivyHub Services
- PrivyHub is a service within the Privy application that enables Users to register for and use various Partner Services using PrivyPass. Privy acts as a Digital Identity provider and not as a provider of, nor a decision-making party in relation to, the Partner Services.
- The PrivyHub Service may only be used by Users who have a PrivyID, a Privy Account, and a Personal Digital Certificate.
- Through PrivyHub, Users may:
- share Personal Data stored in the User’s PrivyPass with Partners for the purpose of registering for Partner Services;
- provide additional information in accordance with the requirements of each Partner Service;
- access, use, and select Partner Services available within the PrivyHub Service; and/or
- carry out transactions or other activities provided by Partners.
- Users must ensure that all Personal Data in their PrivyPass is true, accurate, and complete before sharing it with Partners. By consenting to such data sharing, Users may register for, access Partner Services, and carry out activities or transactions in accordance with the services provided by the Partners.
- Users understand and agree that each Partner Service has its own terms, policies, and requirements that are separate from these Terms of Use, and Users are responsible for reviewing the applicable terms of each Partner before using such services.
- Privy will only share Users’ Personal Data with Partners if:
- the User actively selects a specific Partner Service; and
- the User provides explicit consent to the data to be shared.
- Privy does not automatically share Users’ Personal Data with Partners without the User’s active action and consent.
- Users understand and agree that in using PrivyHub, Partners may request additional information from Users for the purposes of the Partner Services. Privy will not process any additional information provided by Users to Partners for such purposes. Any further processing of such additional information by Partners shall be the responsibility of the respective Partners in accordance with their applicable terms.
- The use of Personal Data contained in the User’s PrivyPass in connection with the use of the PrivyHub Service shall be subject to the provisions set out in the Privy Privacy Notice.
- To the extent not prohibited by law, Privy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit, suspend, or terminate a User’s access to PrivyHub at any time or in the event of indications of:
- misuse of the service;
- violation of these Terms of Use; or
- risks to system security and/or other parties, without prior notice.
3.Limitations on the Use of PrivyHub Services
- Permitted Use:
- using Personal Data belonging to the User or data that is lawfully under the User’s authority; and/or
- conducting activities in accordance with the intended use of PrivyHub as set out in these Terms of Use.
- Prohibited Use:
- Users are prohibited from accessing or using PrivyHub in any manner that violates applicable laws and regulations, these Terms of Use, or the rights of any third party;
- Users are prohibited from using another party’s information in connection with any additional information provided to Partners for the purposes of Partner Services;
- Users are prohibited from manipulating, duplicating, or misusing data in any form;
- Users are prohibited from interfering with, damaging, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the PrivyHub system;
- Users are prohibited from using PrivyHub for fraudulent purposes, money laundering, or any other illegal activities; and/or
- Users are prohibited from using the PrivyHub Service to conduct transactions or actions that may harm or disrupt Privy’s reputation.
4.User Representations and Warranties
- The User represents and warrants that all access to, use of, and utilization of the PrivyHub Service and Partner Services are carried out lawfully, in good faith, and do not violate any applicable laws and regulations or the interests of any party.
- The User represents and warrants that all data and/or information provided to Privy and/or Partners for the purpose of using the PrivyHub Service and Partner Services are valid, true, and accurate, and that the provision or submission of such data and/or information to Privy and/or Partners does not constitute a violation of any applicable laws and regulations or the interests of any party.
- The User represents and warrants that they are responsible for all activities and consequences arising in connection with the use of the PrivyHub Service, physical access to the devices used to access the PrivyHub Service, Partner Services, and/or the User’s password.
- The User represents and warrants that all activities carried out using the User’s PrivyID and/or Privy Account shall be deemed as activities performed by the holder of such Privy Account
5.Partner Services
- In the provision of the PrivyHub Service, Privy may cooperate with Partners through interfaces that may automatically direct Users to the websites, applications, and/or platforms of such Partners to continue using the Partner Services. Accordingly, Users may view content or access Partner Services. Users understand that the display of Partner Services is fully operated, controlled, and maintained by the respective Partners. All content, services, or offerings available therein are the sole responsibility of the Partners. Therefore, any submissions, interactions, or communications made by Users through the Partner Services are managed exclusively by the Partners, without any involvement from Privy. By proceeding, Users acknowledge and agree that Privy shall not be responsible or liable for any correspondence or outcomes arising from the User’s interactions with the Partners.
- By accessing and/or using any Partner Services through PrivyHub, Users acknowledge and agree that such Partner Services are independent from PrivyHub and do not include any products or services provided by Privy, unless expressly stated otherwise in these Terms of Use. The User’s engagement with the Partner Services shall be governed entirely by the terms, conditions, agreements, or contracts entered into between the User and the respective Partners. Accordingly, Users agree to release and hold harmless Privy from any claims, demands, actions, costs, or liabilities arising from any issues, disputes, or violations related to the Partner Services, except where such issues, disputes, or violations are directly caused by a material breach by Privy of these Terms of Use.
- Users understand and agree that all Partner Services are provided by and are the responsibility of the respective Partners, including but not limited to aspects of service quality, security, reliability, availability, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Any assessment, further verification, risk analysis, recommendation, approval, or rejection of a User’s application or activities within the Partner Services, including but not limited to transaction processing, fund disbursement, or other outcomes, shall be entirely under the authority of the respective Partners. Accordingly, Users agree to release Privy from any claims, demands, actions, costs, or liabilities arising from any issues, disputes, or violations related to the Partner Services.
- In the event that the use of Partner Services through PrivyHub requires Users to provide or disclose additional information beyond the Personal Data contained in the User’s PrivyPass, Users understand and agree that such provision or disclosure is made directly between the User and the relevant Partner. Such disclosure does not create any additional confidentiality obligations on the part of Privy with respect to the Partner’s data processing. Accordingly, Users agree that Privy shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from the Partner’s processing of such information, including any breach of confidentiality or data protection, except where such consequences are directly caused by a breach of Privy’s obligations under these Terms of Use, the Privy Privacy Notice, or applicable laws and regulations.
6.Limitation of Liability
- PrivyHub is provided by Privy solely as a platform that enables Users to register for and use Partner Services using PrivyPass. Privy does not provide, own, operate, or control the Partner Services.
- Privy provides the Service on an “as is” basis. Users understand that Privy makes no representations or warranties of any kind that:
- the use of the PrivyHub Service will always be timely, uninterrupted, or free from any changes, additions, reductions, transmission issues, damage, loss, transfer, or concealment caused by intentional and unauthorized or unlawful acts of any party; and/or
- the PrivyHub Service will always meet the User’s expectations.
- Users understand that the PrivyHub Service may experience disruptions or delays due to the unavailability or disruption of third-party and/or Partner services used by the User, or due to disruptions, unavailability, or malfunction of certain features on the User’s device. Users agree to release Privy from any claims, demands, or actions in connection with the failure to execute the User’s instructions due to incomplete information provided by the User or due to cancellation or changes to instructions submitted to Privy, except where such failure is caused by Privy’s willful misconduct or negligence.
- Users agree to release Privy from any claims, demands, or actions arising from any consequences or losses in connection with: (i) the failure or delay in executing an Electronic Transaction; and/or (ii) any disruption, delay, modification, or unavailability of the PrivyHub Service (including where Privy is unable to execute or continue part or all of the User’s instructions or communications through the Privy Application), caused by events or circumstances beyond Privy’s control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, riots, government policies, banking system failures, monetary crises, any changes, additions, reductions, transmission issues, damage, loss, transfer, or concealment within the system, device, or PrivyHub Service caused by intentional and unauthorized or unlawful acts of any party, disruptions or unavailability of third-party and/or Partner services such as internet network failures, power outages, telecommunications disruptions, and continuous electrical failures, or any other events beyond Privy’s control.
- Users agree that Privy shall not be liable for any consequences or losses arising from the above-mentioned circumstances, including but not limited to: (i) loss of data; (ii) loss of revenue, profit, or other income; and/or (iii) any loss, damage, or injury arising from the User’s use of the PrivyHub Service.
- Users agree to release Privy from any and all claims, demands, actions, and damages from any party arising in connection with:
- the use of information or Personal Data contained in the User’s PrivyPass by Privy in accordance with these Terms of Use, or based on the consent, acknowledgment, authority, power, and/or rights granted by the User to Privy;
- the provision of information or Personal Data contained in the User’s PrivyPass by the User to Privy in violation of applicable laws and regulations, the rights (including intellectual property rights) of any third party, or any contract, agreement, statement, decision, or document to which the User is a party or is bound;
- the unlawful or unauthorized use of the PrivyHub Service, in violation of applicable laws and regulations, the rights (including intellectual property rights) of any third party, or any contract, agreement, statement, decision, or document to which the User is a party or is bound, or in violation of these Terms of Use.
7.Advertising, Communications, and Marketing
- Users understand that Privy may display and/or send advertisements, communications, and/or information related to the PrivyHub Service on the Privy Platform and/or deliver them to Users via push notifications.
- Users grant Privy the right to display and/or send advertisements, communications, and/or other information to Users, and authorize Partners or third parties cooperating with Privy to do the same, to the extent permitted under the Privy Privacy Notice.
8.Property Rights and Intellectual Property Rights Clauses
Users do not acquire any ownership rights or intellectual property rights, including but not limited to patents, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets, over any content available on the PrivyHub Service (including but not limited to all information, software, text, characters, numbers, color arrangements, images, logos, names, videos and audio, features, and the selection and arrangement of design). Users agree not to use Privy’s intellectual property rights. Users acknowledge that any attempt or actual violation of these intellectual property provisions may result in the termination of all User rights related to the PrivyHub Service and/or may be subject to legal sanctions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
9.Security and Confidentiality
- Privy undertakes reasonable and prudent efforts to secure and store Users’ Personal Data in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of such data in the provision of the PrivyHub Service, in accordance with applicable electronic system security standards.
- Access to Users’ Personal Data and/or information within the PrivyHub Service is restricted only to:
- the relevant User;
- parties authorized by the User; and/or
- Partners, to the extent necessary for the provision of Partner Services and based on the User’s consent.
- Privy maintains the confidentiality and security of Users’ data and information; however, Users are also responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts, including safeguarding the confidentiality of credentials, PrivyPass, and/or other authentication methods used.
- Users understand that Privy may disclose Users’ data and/or information where required by law or applicable regulations, including for the purposes of law enforcement, prevention of criminal acts, or compliance with other legal obligations.
10.Termination of Use of the PrivyHub Service
- In the event that a User wishes to terminate the use of a specific Partner Service accessed through PrivyHub, the User may do so directly with the relevant Partner in accordance with the applicable terms of such Partner. The termination of the use of such Partner Service shall not affect the validity of the User’s Privy Account nor the User’s access to other Partner Services within PrivyHub.
- In the event that a User wishes to terminate the use of the PrivyHub Service, the User may close their Privy Account in accordance with the provisions on termination of the use of Privy services and the Privy Account as set out in the applicable Privy Personal Terms of Use.
11.Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms of Use are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
- The Customer and Privy agree that any disputes or disagreements arising from or relating to matters regulated in these Terms of Use (including any disputes or disagreements arising from unlawful acts or violations of one or more terms and conditions in these Terms of Use) ("Disputes") will be resolved as follows:
- Either party, whether the Customer or Privy ("First Party"), must provide written notice to the other party ("Second Party") of the occurrence of the Dispute ("Dispute Notice"). The Dispute must be resolved amicably within a maximum period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the Dispute Notice ("Amicable Settlement Period");
- If the Dispute cannot be resolved amicably by the end of the Amicable Settlement Period, the First Party and the Second Party agree that the Dispute will be referred to and settled by the Indonesian National Arbitration Board ("BANI") according to the arbitration procedure rules at BANI's address at Wahana Graha Floors 1 and 2, Jl. Mampang Prapatan No. 2 Jakarta 12760, under the following conditions:
- The language used in arbitration is Indonesian;
- The place of arbitration is in Jakarta, Indonesia;
- The First Party and the Second Party will jointly appoint one (1) arbitrator who will act as the sole arbitrator to settle the dispute;
- The arbitration costs and legal fees shall be borne by the losing party; and
- The arbitral award is final and binding on the First Party and the Second Party.
12.Language
In the event that these Terms of Use are displayed in a various language option and there is a mismatch between one language and another, the Bahasa Indonesian text will prevail.
13.Severability
If some of these provisions cannot be enforced, then the remaining provisions will not be canceled and will continue to apply in full force. Privy has the right to replace and/or change the canceled provisions with other provisions to the extent permitted by the prevailing law and regulation
14.Contacts and Notifications
- Any notification from Privy regarding the PrivyHub Service addressed to Users shall be announced through the Website and delivered via electronic mail (e-mail), short message service (SMS), or push notifications through the Privy Application installed on the User’s registered device.
- Any notification from Users addressed to Privy shall become effective upon receipt by Privy via the e-mail address helpdesk@privy.id and/or through physical documents sent to PT Privy Identitas Digital at CIBIS NINE, 8th Floor, Jl. T.B. Simatupang No. 2, RT 001, RW 005, Kel. Cilandak Timur, Kec. Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, 12560.
- Any notifications, communications, requests, or complaints submitted by Users to Partners in connection with the use of Partner Services shall be made directly through the communication channels provided by such Partners. Privy shall not be responsible for the delivery, receipt, or follow-up of such notifications or communications, except to the extent expressly stated otherwise in these Terms of Use or as required under applicable laws and regulations.
15.Miscellaneous Provisions
- The PrivyHub Service may be developed, updated, or modified from time to time, including the addition, removal, or changes to features, functions, and/or Partner Services.
- Privy reserves the right to add or remove Partner Services from PrivyHub at any time in accordance with business needs and/or other considerations.
- Privy reserves the right to amend, adjust, or update these Terms of Use at any time in accordance with service developments and applicable laws and regulations. Users shall be deemed to have agreed to such changes by continuing to use the PrivyHub Service.
- These PrivyHub Terms of Use constitute an integral part of and are subject to the generally applicable Privy Personal Terms of Use as set out on Privy’s official website. To the extent not specifically regulated in these Terms of Use, the provisions of the Privy Personal Terms of Use shall remain valid and binding upon the User. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict, the provisions specifically governing PrivyHub under these Terms of Use shall prevail.
